Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Open the Official Suno AI Website
First, open your browser and visit the official Suno website.
Click Sign Up in the top-right corner to create a new account. Suno’s official Help Center confirms that web users can start by selecting Sign Up and then choosing a sign-in method
Step 2: Choose Your Sign-Up Method
After clicking Sign Up, Suno will show different account options.
You can use options such as:
- Apple
- Discord
- Microsoft
- Phone number
Choose the method you prefer and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 3: Complete Account Verification
If you choose a social-login option such as Google, Apple, Microsoft, or Discord, follow that service’s authentication process.
If you choose Phone Number, enter your country code and phone number. Suno sends a verification code by SMS, which you enter to complete the login.
Step 4: Log In to Your Suno Account
Once your account has been created, return to Suno and click Sign In whenever you want to access your account.
You can use the same login method you selected during registration. Suno supports phone-number login and several single-sign-on options.
Step 5: Open the Create Section
After logging in, go to the Create section.
This is where you can generate your own AI music. Suno currently provides a Simple mode for straightforward text prompts and more advanced creation controls for users who want greater control.
Step 6: Write Your Music Prompt
In Simple mode, describe the song you want Suno to create.

“A relaxing lo-fi song about studying on a rainy evening, soft piano, warm bass, chill drums and peaceful vocals.”
The more clearly you describe the genre, mood, instruments, theme, and vocals, the easier it is to guide the result. Suno’s official guide recommends describing the desired genre, mood, instrumentation, and structure.
Step 7: Use Custom/Advanced Controls
If you want more control over your song, switch from Simple to the more advanced/custom creation workflow.
Depending on the available interface, you can provide your own lyrics and specify style details. Suno also supports structured lyrics using tags such as [Verse], [Chorus], and [Bridge].
Step 8: Click Create
Once your prompt and settings are ready, click Create.
Suno processes your request and generates music based on your instructions. The current Suno workflow generates two versions so you can listen to and compare the results.
Step 9: Listen, Compare and Improve Your Song
After Suno generates the tracks, listen to both versions and choose the one you like.
If the result isn’t what you expected, don’t worry. You can change your prompt and generate another version. Suno also provides options for continuing or refining songs through its creation and editing tools.
Step 10: Save, Share or Export Your Song
Once you’re happy with your creation, you can manage it from your Suno Library and share your music.
Suno’s current platform supports creating, sharing, remixing, extending, and editing music. Export options and commercial-use rights depend on your subscription and the applicable plan terms.
